Video surveillance on the company premises
Passers-by can be filmed by cameras as long as they are right by the gate and the billboard that leads to the main entrance, and when parking in the public car park on the premises. However, the "public areas of the public parking lot" are not covered by the cameras or are blackened except for the edge directly adjacent to the Trioptics property. The camera on the gate is adjusted to capture only the area directly in front of the gate and the billboard to prevent vandalism. By default, the video surveillance data is stored for 7 days and then automatically deleted.
Your rights with regard to your data
The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides you with the following rights regarding your data:
- According to article 15 GDPR, you may request information about any of your data that we process.
- If we have incorrect or incomplete data about you, you can demand that these data be corrected (article 16 GDPR).
- You may also demand that your data be deleted (article 17 GDPR). However, there may be cases in which we do not have to or are not permitted to delete your data in spite of your request. If you demand that we delete such data, we will check to determine whether any such reasons apply. If not, we will delete your data.
- In some cases, an alternative to deleting your data is to restrict the processing of your personal information (article 18 GDPR). Here too we request that you inform us how you would like to proceed. We will then review the applicable legal provisions and find a way that balances your and our interests.
- If you think that we are unable to comply with the data protection regulations for processing your data on this website, you may file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
